Asked about undivided by early death or long life.
The Master said: 'When the work has shed well-nigh all sound and gain, all craving, yet one thread of the thought of life-and-death still hangs, the whole is not yet fused through. That thought is brought in with the very root of one's embodied life, hence hard to remove. See through it here, pass through, and the mind's whole substance flows unblocked — the learning of fulfilling nature and arriving at the Mandate.'
